We are looking for a Civil Engineer Team Leader who has experience working with key transportation clients: DOTs, Toll Roads. This is a full-time position with benefits included (3 weeks paid time off; Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance; LTD; STD; Life Insurance; 401K).

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work with a multi-discipline team of engineers in the design of roadway transportation and civil projects.

• Design, develop, and create plans in a timely matter.

• Prepare plans and designs by collecting and studying reports, maps, and drawings.

• Performs tasks requiring applications of standard civil engineering techniques and procedures.

• Use design software to accurately render and communicate designs; plans and designs other necessary and related systems and structures such as transportation or hydraulics.

• Standard design of civil project work.

• Serve as a team leader on multi-disciplined projects.

 

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to work as a part of a multi-discipline teams of engineers

• Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)

• Ability to perform under pressure and tight deadlines while working on multiple projects concurrently.

• Knowledge of design software including MicroStation, AutoCAD, Excel and Word.

• The potential to lead a small group of junior engineers is required for Civil Engineer Lead position.

 

Education and Experience:​

• Licensure as professional engineer (PE) and a minimum of 7 years of experience are required.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required (preferred emphasis in civil roadway transportation engineering).
