IL 21 Reconstruction

This project involves the intersection improvements at the intersections of IL 21 with Sanders Road and Euclid Avenue in Glenview, IL, including the reconstruction of IL 21 with modifications to the profile to provide a four-lane facility, two lanes in each direction separated by a 12-food flush/striped or variable width barrier median. Concrete curb and gutter, sidewalk, storm sewer, traffic signals, and traffic signal interconnect will all be constructed during this improvement.

2IM Group is responsible for roadway plans, specifications, and engineers cost estimates. The project also required updating Phase I Categorical Exclusion review for Environmental Impacts. Furthermore, coordination with Cook County and the Village of Glenview is required for Complete Streets aspects for pedestrian and bicycle traffic.
