2D Hydraulic Quick Check Guidebook & Examples

2IM Group is preparing a Guidebook and Examples for Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) for the use of SMS/SRH-2D for preliminary analysis of proposed bridge projects. The Guidebook is intended to assist IDOT in preparing preliminary models of bridges to identify problems at existing or proposed bridges and determine modeling, permitting, scour, and survey requirements for the design of new bridges or rehabilitation of existing bridges. Example models are being prepared for fifteen sites covering a range of bridge sizes, drainage areas, and geographic regions of the state.
