Western Access

This project involves Construction Corridor Management Services and Owner’s Representative Services associated with the Elgin O’Hare Western Access corridor. Phase III Engineering or Construction Management services are required for the Union Pacific Railroad contracts and proposed Illinois Route 390 at I-490 Interchange Construction.

2IM Group is responsible for construction inspections to ensure accordance with specifications and drawings. Inspections include pile driving, concreate structures, Mechanically Stabilized Earth (MSE) Retaining Wall, structural reinforcement bars, and field surveys. 2IM Group submits documentation of pay items upon completion and estimates to ensure approved materials are used during construction.

2IM performs SWPPP Inspections for IEPA ILR-10 compliance, writes Inspector Daily Reports (IDR) and Daily Activity Reports (DAR) on e-Builder, and documents progress photos.
