Environmental Engineer

We are looking for an Environmental Professional to join our growing Team. This position involves working on multiple projects and performing multiple environmental roles including performing environmental investigations involving soil and groundwater sampling, preparing reports, wetland delineations, erosion and sediment control inspections, and tree surveying.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Possess formal education in environmental engineering, environmental science, biology, ecology, or associated fields.

  • Relevant experience, including field work in environmental investigation or natural resources assessment.

  • Experience working with public entities (IDOT, Tollway, CDOT, etc.) is preferred.

  • Proficiency with ArcGIS software

  • Proficiency with CAD software (MicroStation, AutoCAD).

  • Strong communication (written & verbal) and coordination skills.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), the internet, and database software.

  • Valid Driver's License is required for traveling to different job sites.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree is required, degree in Environmental Engineering or physical sciences is preferred.

  • Knowledge with design programs such as AutoCAD/MicroStation and ArcGIS.
