Natural Resource Specialist/Environmental Scientist
We are looking for a Natural Resource Specialist/Environmental Scientist to join the Environmental Team. This position involves working on multiple projects and performing multiple environmental roles including construction documentation, erosion and sediment control, tree surveying, wetland delineations, and soil sampling. This is a full-time position with benefits included (3 weeks paid time off; Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance; LTD; STD; Life Insurance; 401K).
Proficiency with CAD software (MicroStation, AutoCAD).
Strong communication (written & verbal) and coordination skills.
Experience working with public entities (IDOT, Tollway, CDOT, etc.).
Possess formal education in arboriculture, urban forestry, biology, ecology, horticulture, environmental science, or associated fields.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), the internet, and database software.
Valid Driver's License is required for traveling to different job sites.
