Ancona Compressor Replacement

This project involves the replacement and installation of two compressor units at the Nicor facility in Ancona, IL to improve the amount of natural gas injected for storage in the winter months.

2IM worked on installing two compressor units at the Ancona Storage Station. These compressors will accompany a larger compressor, which had been previously built, to mitigate loads during the high-pressure season. In order to manage the new inputs and outputs of these compressors, a portion of the distribution lines within the facility are being replaced as well.
