O'Hare Lead Tunnel Design

The CDA Terminal Area Plan (TAP) involves the construction of new concourses, modifying existing concourses, and replacing the existing Terminal 2 with a new international facility. 2IM Group is working with HNTB for the O’Hare 21 Program’s lead tunnel design. This underground tunnel system includes the conveyance of passengers, baggage, and utilities to connect the new Global Terminal.

2IM Group is responsible for Drainage which includes stormwater drainage exhibits, base mapping existing O’Hare storm utility, as well as updating models. 2IM Group is also analyzing the information collected to assist with the validation of the Project Definition Document (PDD) and development of viable conveyance storm sewer alternatives. XP-SWMM models are being prepared for proposed drainage alternatives.
